End Of An Error
My delicious mistake, my Wrong Way sign
My every character in this work untrue
The mirror reflecting my Self in you
A metaphor, a symbol...for something disowned
A meaning hidden behind the seen and the shown
My elusive prize, my beautiful guise
In this suite of Samsara...you're my final tie
But letting go is being free
Of all the chains thus binding me
To see or not to see
Releasing you...releases me
A representation of all that is fleeting
An imaginary prince for my dreamer dreaming
A transient smile in a made-up world
The silent letter in a foreign word
The cloud without form in a limitless sky
The door to my soul in our infinite eye
The sparkle at night of a far-away star
The beauty and face of all this thou art
An image/mirage on shifting sands
Sifting through my outstretched hands
I could never hold tightly what was only a dream
I could never embrace what only seemed
A shadow changing, morphing, fading...
As I slowly own all of my own making
My projection accepted, my reflection healed
An awakened One so divinely revealed
Letting go is being free
Of all the chains thus binding me
To see or not to see
Releasing All...releases me
I end this piece in YOUniversal Mind
A sweet beginning, a cosmic find
My every being in this Peace be true
A mirror displaying All-That-Is...You

By Another Point of You...
At one point I woke up and real-eyes-ed that my infatuation with a certain someone was merely a symbolic metaphor...
Everything that 'he' represented to me (unbridled youth, ambition, cockiness, freshness, etc) were things I had forgotten I had within myself. I had to project these qualities outside of myself in the form of a person to understand & see what I couldn't in my self. Falling for the reflection is nothing in comparison with falling for the cause of that reflection.
He was a great and beneficial lesson for me in that regard. Now that I see this...I can move on. That's why I wrote 'End Of An Error'...
And that's why I can now get on with The Beginning.
